Hey all!! So I think I'm going to have to split his blog into two, I have so much to tell you guys!!
So I left off at airlie beach:) I think I missed how I met up with a Canadian friend, chris, who has his own camper? Well we drove to a beach that a local had recommended to him the night before, with some girls who he had met in a lay by who were also going up the coast, and it was incredible:') so so incredible. It was literally picture perfect, and we watched the tide go out, which was for ages aha, I walked right along to the point, was so incredible! That night I also had a movie night with chris, we watched inbetweeners episodes ahah, it was actually awesome- so lush having a laptop and hard drive to use:) and so the next day, I was on the bus! To Townsville, to catch the ferry to magnetic island. I met a load of people I had seen before on the way, which was awesome, so we all set off together on the ferry, and checked into the same base hostel which was where the full moon party was at. I was put in the room furthest out, right on the edge, sat over the rocks over the sea:D such am incredible view !! Magnetic island is so underrated:)) that night it was the full moon part(down under- the one in Thailand is the real famous one) and well yeah, it was fun. In the summer there is like 3000 people there, but at this time of year there was only like maybe 600 ... It was still in, but was hyped up to be massive! I ended up having a 3 hour nap aha, and was in the sea at 5 in the morning. It was so much fun!! I met 2 English brothers, Liam and Nathan, as well as ran English girl Abbie and we had an awesome day the next day. Starting with a morning sea swim(well, my second of the morning aha) and a lush breakfast we decided to hire mopeds! It was the best way to get around the island, and we had SUCH an awesome day. My first bike experience, too!! I loved it:) it was so cheap, too:) magnetic island is pretty much made up of loads of spectacular bays, with cute little streets .. We had a lush lunch as well together. A burger without the bread for me! Ahah, yayyy gluten free:D and then that night we just bought some bottles from the shop, gluten free cider Ofc aha, and sat in the beach enjoying the surroundings. It was so lush, the guys where hilarious and we just got on real well as a group! Some girls, Frankie and Joanne joined us too. I think we did go to the bar at the hostel for a little bit, too, it was fun! The next morn almost everyone was moving on, north or south, and I just moved hostels to the yha where I've already prepaid. It was real quite, it's by the koala sanctuary, and yeah I just had a really chilled day. The people in m room where awesome, though, mostly Germans or germannspeaking Swiss, for the first time someone introduced themselves to me in German!mit was an odd experience, ahaha so funny, they were a laugh. Actually earlier that day I'd done the forts walk with an English guy I met, and guess what!! We saw a wild koala!!:D the view from the top was spectacular, too, maggie is such an underrated place. Did mean it was quite tranquil, though :) and so the next day, i was on my last ever greyhound bus, ever!! On the way to cairns!! The backpacker central:) I'd heard a lot about it, from everyone, so I was excited. Ill continue in another!:)!
